Miraval Berkshires

Historic Setting Meets

Miraval's Life in Balance Philosophy

Take a stroll through history on the lush grounds that have housed industrialists, clergy, writers, musicians, golfers, and culture lovers in Massachusetts. The central hilltop Tudor-style Wyndhurst Mansion has overlooked this countryside for more than a century.

Built by John Sloane in 1894, the stately "cottage" is surrounded by 380 acres of woodland delights, designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, the famous landscape architect who created New York’s Central Park.

Miraval Mode

Miraval is a digital device-free environment.

We believe the journey to creating life in balance begins with allowing yourself to be fully present and engaged in the moment. Our intention in establishing a digital device-free environment is to support you in having the most rewarding and inspiring Miraval experience – and to give yourself permission to unplug.

Upon arrival, you will be asked to tuck your cell phone away in the sleeping bag your received at check in and give your device a rest.

Discover how distance from digital distractions can help you become more aware, more present, and connected to your mind, body, and spirit.
